Larmer Tree Festival (Jul 19)
It’s not every day in the UK that you spot a pair of brightly coloured macaws flying in the forest over your head. But then this is Larmer Tree Festival – set in a magical corner of Wiltshire.
What a great line up this year too. No big draw acts, but a huge collection of talent.
I almost didn’t recognise my old mate Joe hiding behind a beard (Pronghorn, fiddle), their set is always special – and a “must see” when you come here.
Gaz Brookfield was brilliant. I’ve wanted to see him for a year. A West Country boy singing songs that make you laugh. Flyte were off the scale and incredibly tight.
Lots more to do and see today. Just chilling in the tent right now contemplating the day – it must be beer o’clock!
Oh and introducing Emma to my friends. A festival newbie!
