Then head back across tower bridge to the south of the river again.

Step 3
The iconic Queens Walk

This footpath and route goes all the way along the south bank, with a detour to St Paul’s. This walk ends at Big Ben.

Watch out for artwork from “The Chewing Gum” Ben Wilson. See his instagram page. And don’t miss the skate park on the Southbank.

It’s a fabulous walk with lots of stops.

It’s worth taking a look at Gabriel’s Wharf and popping into Limin for a Caribbean treat.

Step 4
Big Ben to Buckingham Palace via Downing Street and Trafalgar Square.

If you still feel like walking, head on to Hyde Park. Wander across Westminster Bridge to Parliament Square then along Whitehall to Trafalgar Square passing Downing Street and the Cenotaph.

At Trafalgar Square double back under Admiralty Arch along the Mall to Buckingham Palace and once their head towards Hyde Park which on a sunny day is a gorgeous contrast to the built up areas that you’ve just done.

Lancaster Gate tube is at the end to start your journey home.
