Montafon Ski (Feb 20)
It’s been another amazing blast with Natty in the Montafon region of Austria. This year we were joined by Emma, her first time skiing for 23 years!
Conditions could not have been better with two fantastic fresh powder days and lots of sunshine in between.
Silvretta, Hochjoch, Gargellen and Golm.
Emma even went on a ski safari in perfect conditions, venturing into the next region of the Tyrol.
Natty and I took advantage of some great powder in Gargellen where he also tried out snowboarding. By Friday we all ached from head to toe.
It was lovely to hook up with my Godmother Margaret and her clan from this region. And great to join Simon and Jonathon for a day on the slopes agin.
Emma’s favourite experience was the 5km night toboggan experience. She loved it so much you could hear her scream with delight (or at leats that’s what I thought it was) in Switzerland!
Hope you enjoy the video. Natty put most of it together. It includes a great spill (sorry Em) and a reminder of the night time toboggan run… if you don’t like the music from Darius Rucker – sorry. He’s just been a recent ear worm so the track seemed appropriate.
