Watchet Festival (Aug 19)

Perched on the fields overlooking the Severn Estuary on the North Somerset coast, this year’s Music Festival at Watchet was simply sublime.
Talented musicians everywhere and a real happy vibe. It was made even more spectacular by the weather. We didn’t see a cloud all weekend. What a great excuse for sitting in a field and drinking cider all day.

I have really fallen in love with the West Country. Gaz Brookfield was my personal favourite this weekend – great song lyrics. Although Dave Malone was a close second, a very special set being joined by Hannah Johns from the Leylines.

Thanks to Emma for joining me. A few of my friends told me things happen for a reason. We’ve both come a long way after finding ourselves on our own but for very different reasons and then finding each other via a mutual friend. Fingers crossed.
